Often people wonder whether Jenkins Baer Associates is a firm that strictly works on either residential or commercial projects. While most of our clients request our services to beautify their homes, we’ve also designed a notable amount of restaurants, venues for events, and retail stores. Most recently, the owner of JBA, Jay Jenkins, had the pleasure of working on the then soon-to-be-opened new location for the Ruth Shaw boutique. With the help of his project manager, Jennifer Lynn, and Architectural Associate & Draftsman, Jack Jahncke, Jay took on this venture for most of 2017 to what has now become an aesthetic game-changer at the Shops at Kenilworth shopping center. Here’s a glimpse of the journey from start to finish.

{Ray and Brian relocated from their former location at the Village of Cross Keys in Baltimore to the Shops at Kenilworth in Towson that opened early September 2017}

{Early stages of the installation when light fixtures and paneling have yet to be completed}

{Approximately mid-stage where we can start seeing the boutique coming together}

{Same view, but at this final stage, the space is ready for items to be displayed for new and loyal customers}

{The perfect waiting area for those patiently waiting for the enthusiastic shopaholics}

{Take a look at this entrance – so chic and inviting. “Hello” to visitors in the Shops at Kenilworth}

{The Ruth Shaw Team – the shop has always been known for its relationships with customers, sometimes hosting happy hours and delivering new items to long-time customers}

{Gorgeous bouquets of roses and bold accessories complement the shop’s iconic red accents}

{Visit the Ruth Shaw boutique to see Jay’s fabulous design and to treat yourself to luxury fashion}

Working on projects from start to finish, seeing the complete design in its glory, is one of the rewards that us here at JBA enjoy the most. More to come!

XOXO, JBA
